How the Brick Calculator Works
The calculator first determines the wall area and then estimates how many bricks can fit into that area based on the brick dimensions and mortar joint.
Wall Area = Wall Length × Wall Height
Effective Brick Length = Brick Length + Mortar Joint
Effective Brick Height = Brick Height + Mortar Joint
Bricks per m² = 1 ÷ (Effective Length × Effective Height)
Why Add Waste?
Some bricks may break during transportation, cutting, handling, or construction. A waste percentage provides an allowance for these losses.
